Materials of the highest grade

Since our inception in 1988, all of our merchandise has been — and continues to be — made from "double-faced graded" lambskin (also referred to as shearling). Double-faced graded means the skins are first graded for "flawlessness" of the leather. We use only the skins that are free from any natural or manmade defects. The skins that pass the first test are then turned over and regraded for thickness of the fleece.

Only the thickest fleece of perfect skins is acceptable to us. We do not use any "tipped" fleece, which has darker tips to make it appear thicker. It simply does not pass our thickness test!

Our slippers are not just "fleece lined" but are made from REAL sheepskin with the fleece and leather together in their natural state. We do not use bonded skins, like many inferior brands. Bonded skins are lesser-quality skins bonded to another piece of inferior leather for cheaper manufacturing. They have a stiff, "boardy" feel, and are not washable. They cannot breathe as a natural skin should, and will feel clammy, sweaty, or just plain hot. We put NO SYNTHETICS directly in contact with your foot. Only 100% natural fleece (lambs wool) touches your skin! Our sheepskin fleece will breathe to keep your feet warm while not overheating them.

And, did we mention our products are WASHABLE? We use a special, environmentally-safe chrome-tanning process, so you can safely wash your slippers and insoles (see our FAQ for specific washing instructions).

Insoles go the extra mile

Most sheepskin slippers only wear out underfoot, where weight is carried. The uppers rarely wear out, since no concentrated pressure is put on that part of the slipper or shoe.

Our high top, low top and pull-on slippers feature removable insoles made from the same high-quality lambskin and thick fleece you'll find in our footwear. These insoles will lengthen the life of your slippers by permitting washing and/or replacement of the insole without requiring washing and/or replacement of the entire slipper. We are the only slipper company in the world that offers removable insoles to extend the life of your purchase.

When you eventually wear out the underfoot portion of your slippers (and you WILL, because these will fast become your favorite footwear), you can simply insert new insoles for a virtually new pair of slippers! You won't have to throw away those old favorites. Our slippers last much longer than other brands because of this exclusive feature!

More sizes mean a truer fit

Wearing slippers that are too large can be dangerous. Sizing problems are inevitable if "small, medium or large" are the only options from which to choose. We offer sized slippers to ensure a proper fit, stocking men's and women's whole sizes from 3-15. We are also the only retailer to offer narrow widths.

Many colours and styles to choose from

We offer sheepskin slippers in up to four different colours - not just one or two! And we pride ourselves on setting the style standard in sheepskin footwear. For example, we are one of the few retailers to offer slippers with bindings to match the upper of the shoe, creating the cleaner, more updated look our customers want.

Skin protection for medical patients

There are many health conditions and ailments which require careful protection of the skin against cuts and scrapes. Many medical patients are wearing our slippers because they are non-abrasive and protect their feet from potentially life-threatening exposure.
